The original is always the best. Flavors galore are usually available. Open from mid spring to mid fall, its always packed here, which is a sign of its greatness. When I say flavors galore, I mean, easily 70 to choose from. Its impossible to walk away and not try something.

Always worth it to go to actual Home place of Ralphs

If you find yourself on Staten Island you need to visit Ralph's Italian Ices (not water ice as my wife from Philly calls it.) They have all types of ices and ice creams all homemade all delicious. It's been open since way before I was born and have since opened many chain stores all over the tri-state area, but nothing beats the first one. It can get very busy at times but the wait is worth it.UNCLE GERRY'S TIP: Be a purist, go for the lemon ice.

My dad used to take me here as a kid. I still remember, how awesome the ices were and how my hands would get all sticky when the juice would leak through the paper cup. It's been about 25 years since I've been here... I hope to take my own son here if we find our selves visiting Staten Island again some day.

They have the best ices and icream hands down. They have been in business for over 40 years. The proof of their hard work is in the taste.

I love this place i couldn’t wait for it to open back up. The ice is always fresh workers are nice. Parking sucks the parking lot is small.

Only giving it a 4 cause they only accept cash & its only open during the NY summer. All they're icecream is good, even the ice flavors, sundaes, everything. Theres small parking on the sides. The lines get long but customer service is fast. Ordering is at a window. Theyll package it to go also.

The best Italian ice place that I have ever ate at! There are so many delicious flavors my personal favorite the blue Hawaii ice and my favorite ice cream is the Cookie Monster ice cream! There is never a time where is wouldn’t want to just have some delicious Ralph’s ice! Out of all the times I’ve been I’ve always had great service I would never have to wait too long to get my ice or ice cream! Ralph’s has such a great variety of flavors and plus the sizes of the cups is a great size they are never too big or too small! I love driving down there and grab some Ralph’s ice and just cooling down after being in the heat all day! I would definitely recommend going there! There is no better Italian ice place than Ralph’s!

I've been going to Ralph's for over 50 years and I'm happy to write a wonderful review. This place is special. For families, couples or individuals, it's a great place to treat yourself to a special treat. I stick to the ices and am never disappointed. The orange water ice (don't be surprised if you get an orange pit) and the chocolate peanut butter cup are my favorites. Go and enjoy!

Love the Mississippi mud. Everything here is great so you should definitely try their ices or ice cream

Line was pretty long at almost 11pm the other night but it moved at a good pace..i had the coffee ice cream with sprinkles and mixed nuts (they didnt have just almonds) and it was just ok nothing to go back there for. Wait I would give them a fair chance to show why they are so famous but not in a rush to go back. Would like to try the icees. Ill update whenever i go back.. sorry forgot to take pic of ice cream

I mean Ralph's is very well known on Staten Island as the place to go on hot summer nights! The lines can get way too long but It is worth it when there are tons and tons of flavors to choose from. I actually recommend some of the ice cream as week! Not just for the ices

Omg this is my 2nd favorite ice cream parlor on Staten island. They are only open 4 months out of the year. Eggers is my favorite. Open year round and make great soda's.

My favorite breakfast place. Love their bagles. Staff is always friendly once you visit a few times they remember what you order and how you like your coffee.

This place is a staple of Staten island. Right across the street from deninos. Great ices and ice cream. Usually very busy and long line but moves quickly. Pretty big parking lot.

After crossing the Bayonne Bridge on foot to Staten Island there is nothing better to cool down with then an Italian ice from Ralph’s. Ralph’s has a giant variety of flavors to choose from. I got the chocolate low sugar ice that was out of this world delicious. They also sell ice cream and other frozen confections. With my ice in hand I made my way back over the bridge to Bayonne having successfully walked the 3 1/2 mile round trip. Stopping at Ralph’s made a good walk into a great walk.

Family type atmosphere with the best ice cream, Italian ice, and cream ice there is! The staff is friendly yet professional. The line can be long, but is definitely, always worth the wait. Basically, you have not had a true desert filled with love until you've tried something from Ralph's .🙂💜

Good abundance of ice cream flavors, some of the employees tend to be rude at times though.
Christina Avenoso
A Staten Island staple. It's always better coming to the original location. Chocolate ice will always be my favorite but you can't go wrong with anything.
Alma Caraballo
Best italian ices and ice cream.
Arnaldo Febles
Very nice place. This is what summer is all about
Marguerite Maria Rivas Rivas
Open seasonally, the best Italian ice in NYC. Get a twister, old-fashioned custard ice cream over an Italian ice.
jalisa beverly
The line was super long but to be expected on the 1st nice day in a while. The employees were nice and fast paced. I had the scoop ice cream it was tasty but breyers would've been better! And the hot fudge did not melt right idk what was up with that

Absolutely love Ralph"s! I've been coming here for over 20yrs and they never disappoint. Nice variety of delicious flavors. They've changed their cup sizes this season....hence the 4 stars only.
Isabel Norman
Great flavors and options, there is always something new to try. This place is a must in the summer. Its cash only and there are usually long lines, especially at night. I think the best time to avoid the rush is the daytime. Parking lot is tiny so its always full; I usually just park on a side street. This SI staple is worth it! Even when I moved off the island I would stop by on visits.
Kirk Natoza
OG Ralph’s. Place to get some great Italian ices.
Roberto Rivera
If you live in the island you got to visit it it's the best ice cream shop and icee place in New York
Beanie Perez
Honestly ice cream is very good parking and not so good if anyone has a one-star review or two star review that I do not know what happened... but that would be weird.
Maria Acevedo
Best icy I had, lots of delicious favors.
judith morales
They didn't give me a difficult time about washing the utensils prior to serving my icee...I'm allergic to coconuts and that seems to be a big flavor nowadays.

Best Ices and Ice Cream in Staten Island

I feel like a review isn't needed. This is Ralph's ices. If you're reading this, put down your phone. Put on some pants and grab yourself some delicious cold goodness. Just make sure you come to this location. On Richnond terrace. I've tried the other locations and it just doesnt have the same magic.

An hidden gem in NYC, you must include this amazing parlor on Staten island if you take the time to visit this "other" borough. An institution which has been here for decades, there are flavours for everyone. a short drive from the ferry, get yourself an uber or a taxi to reach it.
Raymond Crawford
As always Ralph's was a very enjoyable experience .. Not only are the choices tasty and fun the always crowded full of friends old and new lines to get their frozen confections was an experience worth your time . I luv Ralph's and bring all me friends to share in the Ralph's experience . I had a pint half chocolate water ice on the bottom with banana cream ice on top mmmmmmmm
Donna Scarselli
It was delicious. First time for the season but definitely not the last. The Coconut was amazing.

Been going here since a child Ralph's will forever be a part of my life. Consistency keeps this business alive (oh and us islanders) lol
Katie Jo Artsy
Best Italian ice ever! Local place open seasonally and there’s always a line but it moves fast. Love how they stay open late too. I think till 11pm most nights if I’m not mistaken.
Eduard M
The best, I still get the the clssic flavors, but this place has been around since the beginning of time, it's the best for a reason, and they have changed with the times, if they don't have a flavor no one will.
Denise baugh
It is definitely the best ice cream and iced anywhere!
Desmond Chow
This is the original Ralph's Ices where you could find every flavor there and served generously with every scoop and the flavor that would just rock your taste buds. This place could be crowded during the summer peak, but the lines moves fast. And there is Denino's Pizzeria across the street which is a good place for a pie before... or after Ralph's.
Gee mom
I love there icecream😋 the best on staten island. the lines be long but its worth the wait👌ðŸ¾
Joseph Odoms
This is some good flavors ice. I just love on a hot day
Larissa Laurel
Amazing!! Now it's a must go to spot whenever I visit Staten Island! Thank God for the sugar free flavors!

If you want Italian ices this is the place to go. Right a across from deninos. I love Italian lces but I was a little disappointed with the usual flavors I get 1. Cherry chip 2. Coconut Raspberry tart. They were more dairy than usual and melted by the time it was served. I’ll chalk it up to the heat that day, and it won’t dissuade me from going back.
